ESR6: Adolfo Miguel Martins

Adolfo Miguel Martins, has Portuguese nationality and is an archaeologist at the National Center for Nautical and Underwater Archaeology - Directorate General of Cultural Heritage since 2009.

Work experience: Was chief of the Division of Nautical Archaeology and Underwater - Directorate General of Cultural Heritage from May 2011 to September 2012, Library Technician at the Department of inventory - Directorate General of Cultural Heritage from June 2009 to October (same year), Inventory Technician at the National Museum of Archaeology from November 2008 to May 2010 and served in the Navy from 1995 to 2008 as a Navy Officer.

Has academic qualifications in history and underwater archeology and is specialized in wooden shipbuilding.

Is the director of the underwater archaeological research project called Tróia 1. Has Collaborated and coordinated several underwater archaeological excavations.

Language skills: English and Spanish.

Scuba diving skills: Divemaster SSI, GUE, React Right.
